last goodbye and a birthday
yesterday was a day for goodbyes.
it was the last goodbye for pope john paul II. EDSA shrine brought out vestments he used during the Mass he said at UST when he was here for world youth day 10 yrs. ago. (Wow, it's been that long???) good thing i was able to take a picture of it.

also said goodbye to someone who i hope, instead of being our last meeting, will commence more meetings sometime soon.
i went to play badminton for the first time in 11 yrs. last night. it was a birthday celebration of my friend, coco, from school. i was a bit nervous at first, not having even held a racket for that long period of time. and when it was all the rage, i didn't want to be accused of "going with the fad". but for you, coco, i finally tried badminton again. it wasn't bad at all. i had fun, and might even play again soon.

chocolate cake with cherries on top!:)

yes, i really played the game!
