simple pleasures

SOMEONE tagged me, so here i go...
Name ten of life’s simple pleasures that you like the most, then pick ten people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.

1. Sipping Benguet brew in Baguio. I was never a fan of plain, black coffee til I drank a cup of Benguet… and I only ever drink it in Baguio: at Ruins, Ebai’s, Volante, Cottage Gi’s, PNKY. Have yet to try to brew it at home. I suspect I won’t be able to duplicate the experience though.
2. Rain. As long as I’m not outside dripping wet. I’ve always loved looking out the window and writing or reading in the middle of a downpour.
3. Sleeping. I hardly dream anymore, but I always have a restful sleep.
4. Travel. The best thing about Baguio is that there are so many interesting, new places to explore just a jeep or bus ride away. I’m such a tourist! I take my notepad and scribble down things I notice along the way, I take TONS of photos, and I love learning so many new things first-hand. I have wanderlust!

5. Taking a nap. Work doesn’t give allowance for naps, but I love taking even a 30-minute catnap. It refreshes me.
6. Books. I go crazy at the sight of books. I love looking at them, touching them, browsing through them…and despite the fact that there are tons more at home I haven’t read, I love buying books. They’re my addiction.
7. Taking photos.
8. Yoga.
9. Spending time with my family and friends. Even just laughing over the most shallow things relaxes me. That’s why I take every chance to be with them, no matter what.
10. Hugging my rabbit and taking my dog for a walk. They’re my babies! I love them and I know they love me too.
