a perfect wedding

before the ceremony

laddie and carwin exchanged "i do's" last saturday, feb. 25, at 5 pm. previous to the picture-perfect wedding, state of national emergency was proclaimed and rains poured. but that afternoon, the sun was up and the guests were gathered at the beachfront of friday's boracay.

i had my hair done by ogie and my makeup by kat. o, di ba?



i was commentator during the ceremony. and laddie made us all teary-eyed as early as her walk down the aisle while "she" played in the background.

we waited for the sunset to take beautiful pictures, then proceeded to the reception area. as mr. and mrs. hendricks made their entrance, the nightsky lit up with fireworks.
we heard a few speeches, then the invocation, then it was eating time!!!
my favorites: oysters, sushi, sashimi, garlic prawns, and pineapple. i didn't touch the lechon!
over-all, it was a successful first-time MC gig for me.
laddie sang "runaway" as a special number. and made us all cry (again) when she announced that she was leaving with carwin for the US in early march.

the reception ended at 9. but i was too tired to parade around bora in my beautiful makeup!:O
it was a perfect wedding, granted by God. because that night, it started to drizzle again. blessings on their wedding!
