Glückwünsche, Benedict XVI!

we have a new pope. yehey! this is the first time i've been "witness" to such an activity, and i'm glad that it was fulfilled quickly and decisively.
cardinal joseph ratzinger is in his seventies, but i do hope he can fulfill many years as pope. i like that he chose the name benedict, for st. benedict (ora et labora). and he's german. that's very good news about my european "adopted" country. (no, they're not aware of that. hehe!) there hasn't been a german pope for centuries. and this is just another of the wonderful things happening to deutschland.
