sad day

i'm very sad today. pope john paul II, who i never met, but hold very dear to my heart, has left this world. of course, i should be happy that he is with God and has left this world that is wrought with pain and suffering. but i feel very sad because he is the pope that i grew up with, and i admire him completely, and love him very much. he brought so many people closer to God, and mended the relationship of the Church with other sectors as well. and i know that he was admired by so many people, Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
