one good day

got a lot done yesterday. several projects passed on to our very talented and hard-working artists (i just know they're checking this blog! hehe!), meeting up with a good friend, and meeting new ones.
chef d' angelo is shaping up to be my fave new resto. cecilia and i had merienda there (which turned out to be early dinner). here's our pigging-out/mari-gras-type menu: chicken and rice with salad, burger with fries, and banana pecan pie. we didn't finish off the chicken and burger because we had to make room for the pie! and what a yummy pie it was! (ok, initially, we intended to just have cake here. but, well...)
afterwork, i went with cecilia to the radio station and met some of her other co-workers, and hung out for a while.
wish melanie was there to complete our trio. but we'll see her soon enough. my friends really rejuvenate and keep me grounded.
when i got home, just had time to say hello to the family, take a bath, then, fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
today, until saturday or sunday, i have to face my other task: finishing papers for school. so i have to sacrifice doing my blog for that. when i went to mass yesterday, the priest said something i liked: we should not focus on the sacrifice, but transcend it. that will be my mantra.
