mini-reunion

the trio finally met up late last night. too bad i didn't have my cam with me to record the event.
so, cecilia had fresh-from-the-oven, very exciting-in-more-ways-than-one news. we're very happy for her. and very kilig. and very hopeful.
melanie got to tinker with my new phone. snazzy new phone. so now, she's kinda mad at her phone for not having a color display. you know what, this phone and my eMac experience taught me something. ok, ready for some deep insight?;) that it's really, really worth it to wait for something that you don't really expect, but will delight you to no end. or, as my former most-favorite maxim goes: "good things come to those who wait."
last night was a milestone for cecilia. sadly, we weren't around at midnight to be there to support her physically. but--ready for something senti?--we were there in spirit, and share in her success.
melanie and i talked about some writing we wanted to do. hopefully, we'll get everything done soon.
got home drained, but very happy indeed.
