richard gere is gorgeous

men age gracefully. case in point: richard gere. i certainly loved him more in "pretty woman" than in "an officer and a gentleman". now, his hair's all white, but he's still so sexy and charming. i love the new visa commercial. it's set in india, where mr. gere is going around a market with a guide, and a witnesses a little girl who tries to buy birds to free for good fortune for her brother. but she has just enough money for one. she walks away with the solitary bird, and richard gere, like a knight in shining--er--visa, buys a whole flock of birds for her. ok, so the storytelling is good, too. but come on, richard gere is mr. prince charming through and through. or lancelot. or whatever superhero/idol you can think of that's appropriate.
