some more history

after breakfast at giordon inn (where i had wonderfully-prepared vigan longganisa), we went to the crisologo museum. the family has several houses in vigan, but this one, near the small church (on quezon ave., vigan), is what they chose to make their museum. the caretaker was very accommodating and chatty. the place is maintained by the family, so they only ask for donations.

it had started raining, so we walked around vigan under the drizzle. still enamored with the old houses, wondering what kinds of days they had weathered.

there's something i've noticed with CAP office buildings: they're all beautiful brick infrastructures and have a statue of a particular important historical figure in front. i saw it in dumaguete, in makati, in laoag, and in vigan. too bad about their state of affairs though.
