family day

i spent friday with my family. we went to pay our respects to our dead relatives in the cemetery, and to fulfill something for plenary indulgence. then, we went on errands, like buying groceries. as an added bonus: we ate my favorites! i'm not supposed to eat, well, certain kinds of food, but there was an unspoken moratorium. so i was treated to yummy spaghetti at cash and carry's cafeteria (a family favorite since i was a child) and for dessert, swiss choco at becky's kitchen (a high school favorite). it was just a day to hang out, as we haven't done in a long time, with every body busy with his or her own thing. i loved it!
