touching moment
i'm so blessed with meeting so many great friends, i think that's the most valuable thing this job has given me. i must admit, i was a virtual anti-social during my first year. but as i had to talk to more people, i formed bonds of friendship with officemates. and those are priceless.
kat, who i met through my friend cecile, and i have a lot in common as well. so we understand when each of us unloads. good thing we alternate having "issues". she's my "he's just not that into you" sister! she promises to visit me in baguio.
miel, who is years younger than i, i met through our former ed asst, candy, who's now with GMA. but since we went to the same high school, discovered we had some of the same interests and complimenting temperaments, we became much closer. and you know my mental age is really 21. hehehe! she's really sad about me leaving, but in her trademark perky manner, she still makes our recent conversations light.
koko and i share the same passion for everything childlike, maybe even childish! during our brainstorming sessions, we are always on the same wavelength about kids' activities that we can come up with for the magazines! those same sessions inevitably run long because of our enthusiasm, and nonstop idea-sharing.
midday friday, when i get into the office straight from claiming documents, i find an envelope on my table with my name on it. it's a card from koko with michael vartan pictures inside!!!! so sweet of her.
