scenes from a life

i told you i found a great spot at the library, didn't i? here's a photo of the nook, and my view from there:

i pass through this small park, called sunshine park, everyday, because it's between UP and the spot where the jeep passes. i spotted this beautiful flower that looks like a gumamela, but also like a stargazer. but a bit smaller than either one.

there's a walkway from the park to nearby SM, and i like looking out at the view from up there, as well as the lush greenery, like this plot of pine trees.

i also discovered, through an article posted on the bulletin board in school, cottage gi's. a nice place near the top terrace of SM, where they serve a variety of food like pasta, pizza, sandwiches, bam-i, and okoy. but what really drew me there was the fresh strawberry shortcake. the difference? none of the too-sweet preserved taste. the strawberries are juicy and sweet--no hint of sour at all. yum!!!
