food tripping all around

for the last few days, i've been all over baguio food-tripping, coupled with cozy conversations with friends. LL, forgive me, but i returned to o mai khan the next day, and had lunch complete with dessert with a friend who needed to get back in touch with the outside world after hibernating for 4 straight days! this time, i had strawberry cheesecake. absolutely scrumptious!
that night, vocas was my stop, where i had a very filling sandwich (didn't have space for crepe this time!), and an eye-full of the collage exhibit up on display.
next day, had lunch with lesley (of baguio, and soon mainland china) at breathing space. it was my first time there, and had fun poring over the exhibit my jcrisanto martinez. nice stuff! i like a lot of what i saw in the menu, and will definitely come back.
yesterday was bliss cafe's anniv, and upon the invitation of the owners jim and shanti, we had lunch there: lesley, katti, me, and a new friend i made, mej. i think we had 3 enormous dishes! jim had to remind us: leave room for cake! if only i didn't have people waiting for me at the office, i would've spent the entire afternoon there. i love having long, meaningful conversations!
so, that's where i'm at. stuffed--both gastronomically and mentally--obviously, happy.
oh, and yes, i got a new 'do. no pix just yet. but i guess my "going around" was a chance for my friends to go "whoa!" about it too.
