KSP ako!
i went home to meet up with so many friends this past weekend.
late thursday night, fresh from the bus, i met up with laddie who was leaving early the next morning. it was as if a lot of time but at the same time no time had passed. i can't believe i haven't seen her in so long! her hair was already up to her waist and she gained some weight, but she's still the same funny girl i met in college. she and her husband would spend a few days in singapore, then back to the US.
friday was my day to visit mems because it was her last day at summit. so we chatted with jonas, ateng, and sunshine. i also went on a mini-shopping spree. but not forgetting that i have to save up for something BIG. then i went home for a church thing with the family.
the next day, i went dvd-shopping. i missed it so. and even if i only had half an hour to spare, you know i went away with an armful of stuff! i then walked down ongpin in chinatown, and that place too has changed, though stayed the same. there are much more commercial establishments, and much more modern neon signs, but most of our old haunts are still there. i met up with LL to finally have that sumptuous lunch we've been planning for soooo long. and of course, major bonding once again. i went home to rest a bit, then went off to watch a modelling comp my sis was a part of. she seemed to enjoy it and i was happy for her. but then i had to rush off to tiendesitas for a girls' night out with cely and nanie. where we dished over margaritas then we went from tiendesitas to metrowalk where it turns out, oktoberfest was going on and brownman revival was playing! finally, my longing to dance was fulfilled! to top it off, the dawn (with buddy zabala on bass) immediately followed. haayy...jet pangan is so sexy... so we girls had a fun! fun! fun! time, of course.
sunday was family fun day when, as usual, we stuffed ourselves silly with food i craved, this time, vaca ribs from bakahan at manukan. then i treated them to cake at red ribbon. no red ribbon in baguio e.:(
monday, i was back in galleria for lunch with kat. we talked about all of these different topics. we both miss our mini-bondings during coffee breaks at summit. then, i dropped by summit to solicit free mags, and got into conversations with officemates i hadn't visited with in a while.
all those days back and i didn't even get enough time to meet up with ALL my friends. i'm so KSP! i love spending time with my friends. over food. ack! but that's the best venue to bond and show our love for each other. love my friends, truly. who knew i could have so many? me, who pledged to keep only a small, intimate group of friends who i would open my heart to. i guess there's a lot of space there after all...
