rant and rave sessions

spent the day with kat and miel yesterday, going around shopping (them, not me). i was just there for the company, and to be reminded how crowded the malls can get in manila.
had dinner with the former officemate girls (and guy), and had a blast, as usual. they always manage to make me laugh--even sometimes despite the fact that i don't personally know the people they're talking about. great times! it was also my chance to leave them their pasalubongs, and for us to exchange gifts. got really great useful ones! a mug with goodies (uhm, what was the lotion doing there??) from cleone and bubbles, a bottle opener from mems, a cool racerback and lipgloss from cindy (hmm...should i corrupt the minors with these tools?:P), cute flip flops from sonee, a packet from abby. i think the difference also for me this year is that i love giving gifts that i hope the people i give them to will love. i bought few gifts for few people, which is better for me than buying a whole mass of gifts for EVERYBODY, that they won't like or need or at least appreciate anyway. and besides, i already have the JOY that's the best Christmas gift of all. (and no, not the bathroom tissue!)

so glad sonee was able to drop by despite the lateness of the hour and her busy (truly!) sked
