napintas ak
it's hotter than usual here in baguio, so i was wearing a dress today. and one of the students said to me: "napintas ka" (napintas means beautiful in ilocano). he's not my student, but a serious student of one of my co-teachers, that we sometimes talk to. so i'll take the compliment at face value. that was so sweet really. oh, but i wasn't wearing like a sundress, ok? still not up for that. just a maong, empire-cut (thanks to my stylist friends, i know terms like that) knee-length dress that doesn't restrict me from running, jumping on a jeep, or walking really fast.
