i'm okay

yes, typhoon florita came and lashed out at us up here in baguio. we had no classes for three days. thank you, my friends, for texting and emailing, asking after my safety. honestly, you were my only sources of news, as i was in bed under the covers the entire time: reading, staring out at the rain, watching DVDs--just taking time to eat, answer the call of nature, and get some yoga done. but i kept safe and dry, eating processed food (blech!). of course, after finding out about the victims of more than a dozen landslides, i was compelled to pray for them. for the rain-soaked, cold, hungry, lost. and to thank God for those who were spared.
