dad-and-me bonding

my family was supposed to come up to baguio to celebrate my dad's birthday and my parents' wedding anniversary (what is it with guys setting the wedding date near their birthdates?), but my lola got sick and no one was available to care for her, and of course, the task fell to my mom. my dad was considering whether they should forego the trip completely or come on his own. but i really wanted someone with me at this time, and thankfully, my dad decided to make the trip. so i showed him my office, and you just know we ate every chance we could! who knew the breakfast at star cafe was so amazing?? my dad wanted to buy me things for my room, but i didn't want him to bother at all. finally, we compromised, and he got me a new cabinet. it was a great, though short, trip. i can't wait til the next time!:)
