i've been published in a book!
and i'm not just talking about a yearbook here. flashback to this post a few months ago. now it can be told, because they're launching the book at the end of august!
gissy's mom is the editor of the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation Great Men and Women of Asia. i wrote about sadako ogata, a strong japanese woman who was the commisioner of the UN's high commission on refugees. when you find out about her life, you'll be so impressed with her, as i was, even as she's an octogenarian now! it's a bonus that she's japanese, ne?! i won't divulge any more, so that you'll buy the book! hehe! this year, the awardees include eggie apostol and tony meloto and his gawad kalinga. oh, how i would love to meet them--hopefully, they'll be there at the launch.
once again, domo arigatou to rye, gissy, and tita angge. here's to more worthwhile writing projects to come!
