PETA does not disappoint

i missed its run in manila, but i guess i was really meant to watch "mga kuwento ni lola basyang", because PETA brought it over to baguio last sunday. it was written by christine belen, and is so deliciously post-modern. loved it! it toed the line of being didactic, but avoided that trap. as can be expected, the actors were exceptional, and the props, sets, and costumes superb! there was just a bit of a problem with the sound (wireless mics going haywire) and lights (because it was 9 am, darn it!). overall, it was P150 well spent, and it was worth the wait. hopefully, little prince will make it here soon enough. one of my favorite books brought to the stage. cool!
