get-togethers galore

i met up with cleone, bubbles, sonee, mems, and leslie at rockwell. we ransacked fully booked, then headed to dencio's for lunch. it was constant dishing. too bad cindy and abby couldn't make it.:( some people went shopping though...you know who you are!!
i then just stopped at home to freshen up and change, then my dad dropped me off at savio parish in mandaluyong for cecile and winston's wedding. it was a beautiful, peaceful (not chaotic!) ceremony. after seemingly endless photo ops, we proceeded to don bosco for the reception. their admin bldg is beautiful! it's old spanish, like the old houses in vigan or intramuros with wide staircases, rickety planks, and just so much history, you can tell!
the program was simple too. a few people made speeches for the couple, they danced, there was a bouquet toss (kat was the "lucky" winner), and then mingling.

we didn't get to talk to cey during the program, but because we stayed a bit longer, we were able to have a tet-a-tet after most of the guests had left. come to think of it, there were no tears shed anywhere during the event. but there was a fine rainshower during the reception--a blessing, indeed!
